Q: What is the number of mentoring sessions?
A: It's up to you! Every two weeks, every months, sometimes even perhaps once a week.
Q: What if I get a promotion already after e.g., three sessions?
A:Â Good that you asked, because it's not unusual that a client gets a promotion in her current job or a new job soon after starting the program. That's why I sometimes call the program with the name "Get promoted in 90 days"!
It's usually thanks to the newly gained confidence that others have noticed, too. When things start to roll, they gain momentum and keep on rolling!
If such a lucky thing happens, we will continue the program because there are usually many topics to discuss when you are starting a new job. E.g., the company culture differs from what you are used to, the bureaucracy may be heavier or lighter than you are used to and it's takes some time to find you way and adjust to new ways of working. Then it helps to have a professional outside the company to talk to.
